Cookie policy

LinguExcel uses a small set of browser technologies for accounts, offline learning, preferences and optional anonymous analytics.

1. Technologies covered

This policy covers cookies and similar browser technologies, including local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, the Cache API and service workers. Some of these technologies store information on your device without using a traditional cookie.

2. Essential storage

Essential technologies support features requested by the user and do not require analytics consent. They include:

  • Supabase authentication cookies used to keep an account signed in and protect authenticated routes;
  • local and IndexedDB learning records used to keep progress available and support synchronization;
  • interface preferences, active language and session-resume information;
  • service-worker and cache records used to install the web app and make supported resources available offline;
  • Paddle Checkout and customer-portal technologies used when you choose a plan, complete payment, or manage billing;
  • the record of your analytics choice, so the question is not shown on every visit.

Removing essential local storage can sign you out or erase progress that has not yet synchronized to your account.

3. Optional analytics

If you select "Allow", LinguExcel creates an anonymous identifier and session information to measure pages, learning activity, feature use, performance and acquisition campaigns. The system is designed not to send email addresses, sentence text or translations in analytics events.

If you decline, optional analytics events are not sent. Declining does not reduce access to LinguExcel.

4. Advertising technologies

LinguExcel does not currently use advertising cookies or personalized advertising technologies. This policy and the consent interface will be updated before any such technology is introduced.

5. Change your choice

You can reopen the consent panel at any time. Refusing future analytics stops new optional measurements from being sent.

You can also clear storage through your browser settings. Browser controls may affect essential account, offline and progress features as well as analytics.

6. Updates

This policy will be updated if storage technologies, analytics providers or advertising tools change. The latest effective date appears at the top of this page.
